The short version
Savvy TEAS is a study app for the ATI TEAS entrance exam. Your progress is saved in your own browser, on your own device. Signing in is optional and only needed for the Savvy TEAS Pass: if you sign in, we keep your email address and what you bought. We do not sell personal data, and we don't show ads.
Who we are
Savvy TEAS (the "App", at savvyteas.com) is built and operated by Maniot Ventures. Questions about privacy: [email protected].
What stays on your device
Your answers, scores, streak, study plan, test date and settings are stored in your browser's local storage on the device you use. They are not sent to us. If you clear your browser's data for this site, or use a different browser or device, that progress is not there. See how to delete your data.
What reaches a server
- Hosting logs. Like any website, the servers that deliver the App keep standard request logs (such as IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time) for security and reliability. We use them only for that.
- Usage statistics (if enabled). If we turn on anonymous usage statistics (for example, which lessons are started or how many questions are answered), they are tied to a random ID created on your device, not to your name or email. We will update this page before that changes.
- Sign-in and the Savvy TEAS Pass (only if you sign in). See "Signing in" and "Payments" below.
- Email you send us. If you write to us, we keep the message and your address to answer you.
We do not use advertising trackers, and we do not sell or rent personal data to anyone.
Signing in
You only need to sign in to buy the Savvy TEAS Pass or to use it on another device. You sign in with a 6-digit code we email you; there is no password. When you do, we keep:
- your email address and a random account ID (one Maniot account works across Maniot apps);
- a sign-in cookie on your device (
__Host-pf_session, 90 days), so you stay signed in; we store only a scrambled (hashed) copy of it; - a random device ID stored in your browser, sent when you ask for a code, so we can limit abuse. Rate limits are kept as hashes of the email or device ID, never as IP addresses.
Your study progress still stays on your device. Codes and receipts are sent by our email provider, Resend. Accounts and purchases are stored on Cloudflare, which hosts the App.
Payments
The Savvy TEAS Pass is a one-time payment, processed by Stripe. Your card details go to Stripe and never reach us. From Stripe we receive the amount and currency paid, a payment reference and the email you typed at checkout, and we keep them with your account as the record of your purchase, along with the date your Pass ends. Stripe's own privacy policy covers what Stripe keeps.
Children
Savvy TEAS is meant for people preparing to apply to nursing and health programs. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Your choices and rights
Because your progress lives on your device, you control it: you can delete it at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser. To see or delete your account (your email and purchase record), or for any other request about data we may hold (such as an email you sent us), write to [email protected] from the address you signed in with, and we will answer. Deleting an account ends its Savvy TEAS Pass.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will also be noted in the App.
